These raw balls of deliciousness are the best. Crunchie and morish, great for after gym or an afternoon snack


2 cups medjool dates

1 1/2 cups lightly dessicated coconut

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 tbsp water

1/2 cup buckinis (loving earth activated buckwheat)



  • Lightly toast coconut on a low heat until aromatic and lightly browned (keep 1/2 cup aside)
  • Add 1 cup of coconut and all ingredients EXCEPT buckinis into the food processor and pulse until sticky when pressed
  • Add buckinis and pulse through to mix.  Don't over process or it will lose the crunch
  • Roll about a tablespoon in a ball and then roll in the coconut that was put aside
  • Eat, yum = amaze balls
