About Insync

InSYNC Adelaide was founded after my own journey to wellness.

Over the years, my body had grown intolerant to many foods. So I simply began avoiding the foods that I reacted to. More and more foods found their way onto the ‘don’t eat list’. Eventually, it became a running joke in my family, ‘Is there anything that Mum CAN eat?’

I found myself feeling more tired with every day that passed. Afternoon naps kept me functioning, but I never felt truly rested, no matter how much sleep I got. I lost my bright, sparkly self, and became a slave to my symptoms.

One Saturday, I was lying in bed when my son came in.

‘Mum? You’re always sleeping.’

I looked at my beautiful boy, hanging back from me. And I realised he was right. Although I hadn’t noticed it creep in, I was always sleeping.

This wasn’t normal. It shouldn’t be my normal.

Not long after, a rash broke out all over my face. I stared at my blotchy red face in the mirror, and thought to myself, ‘I have to face this now’.

The problem is that I didn’t know who to turn to. I did the rounds of various health providers, but there were no improvements. Even they didn’t know what I could do about it anymore.

Then one day, I was chatting to a friend who had used natural therapies for his own issues. He encouraged me to give it a go, ‘What have you got to lose?’ The truth is that I had nothing to lose except for exhaustion, a restrictive diet and a rash! So I investigated some natural options.

With the support of natural therapies, my body began to heal itself rapidly. I was able to rediscover the joy of foods that had been off-limits, and I stopped needing my daily naps.

Now I am a passionate advocate for a holistic approach to health, having trained and qualified as a bioresonance therapist. It’s my mission to help others rediscover the wellness within.

Since regaining control of my health, I’ve also participated in the New York City Marathon – something that sleepy Jo would never have dreamed of doing.
